A brand new start
Not removed from the past
Like any from of art
With dashes of the past and present
Like any form of gift
With traces of the future
A brand new start
Not away of escaping the past
But a redoing part
Bolding those blue and thinning that red
Reviewing and aligning
A brand new perspective
A fresh new beginning
With energised and aired redoing
Removing that brick there and putting in fittings
Replacing this with that and it looks new
Sweeping hidden places and re-checking the overlooked
The fresh smell of domestos with handy-andy
A brand new me
The old new me
All mixed up in one, me
